About Me

Adriane Hodges is a Gold Star Daughter, small business owner, and mother of four who believes leadership begins with service. Her father, Captain (Jack) Jonathan Ross Edwards, USMC, gave his life in 1991 protecting injured soldiers during Operation Desert Storm. Her mother faced her final battle with cancer with courage and grace, passing under Adriane’s care. From her parents, Adriane learned that true service isn’t about titles or recognition; it’s about responsibility, integrity, and sacrifice. Today, she and her husband John Patrick Hodges are raising their family right here in Bell County, where Adriane owns a local small business and continues to serve her community through roles that demand trust and accountability. “Service is not about rank or reward, it’s about doing what’s right, even when no one’s watching.”

  • Treasurer, VA Delta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi
  • Public School Teacher

In each role, Adriane has managed resources with transparency, modernized financial systems, and fought waste. She understands what it means to be entrusted with public funds — and to make every dollar count.

About image 4

Bell County families are tightening their belts while the county spends over $800,000 a year on a Treasurer’s Office that duplicates the work of the County Auditor. Adriane believes taxpayers deserve better. Her mission is simple:

  • Serve with transparency and fiscal responsibility.
  • Find Solutions to eliminate waste and modernize government.
  • Sacrifice political comfort for the sake of taxpayers, even if it means eliminating the office she’s running for.
“If elected, I’ll serve faithfully and transparently, then I’ll recommend that this office be eliminated, so your tax dollars go where they belong: to deputies, teachers, roads, and families.” Adriane Hodges isn’t running to build a career; she’s running to rebuild trust in Bell County government.
